About our Founder and Master Instructor:
Allison Porter Klinger, has over 40 years of experience in movement health. Allison grew up dancing and performing ballet, tap, and jazz dance. She continued to perform and teach ballet and jazz dance throughout her young adulthood.
Allison became certified to teach the Feldenkrais Method in 2000. She has maintained a private practice with much success. She teaches Awareness Through Movement® and Functional Integration® from her home studio in picturesque Rio Nido.
Allison worked in research with the SFVA and UCSF. She spent ten years developing and testing movement programs. These include PLIE (Preventing Loss of Independence through Exercise) and Moving Together. Moving Together is an online group movement program enhancing quality of life for people experiencing cognitive decline.
